　Tokyo, Japan- MINKABU THE INFONOID, Inc., (Ken Uryu, Founder & CEO; hereinafter “Minkabu”) is pleased to announce Mr. Tokio Morita will be appointed as a special adviser of the Company.

As a part of countermeasures to address the rapid expansion of our business scope, MINKABU have invited Mr. Morita to give advice on the following fields:

• Overall business of asset building
• Investment education business
• Financial instrument business
• Feasibility study for alternative financial business including NTF, STO and others
• General financial legislation
• Corporate governance

【Background】

After joining the Japanese Ministry of Finance (MOF), Mr. Morita worked at the Banking Bureau, the Budget Bureau, the International Finance Bureau, the Securities Bureau, the Financial Planning Bureau, the Permanent Delegation of Japan to the OECD, and International Monetary Fund (IMF) etc., and joined the Financial Services Agency in 2007.
After serving as Director of the Securities Business Supervisory Division, Director of the Banking Business Division I, Supervisory Bureau, the Financial Services Agency, Deputy Director General of Planning and Coordination Bureau (in charge of Disclosure Policy), the Financial Services Agency, Deputy Director General for Secretariatʼs Policy Matters, Secretary-General, the Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission, Director General the Strategy Development and Management Bureau, and the Financial Services Agency, he appointed as Vice Minister for International Affairs, the Financial Services Agency in 2020. Resigned from the post in July 2021.
